The story behind Encore Produce begins long before its foundation in 2023...
It all started at Ferme Onésime Pouliot, where Joey got his first job as a teenager. He would go to the farm by scooter to work in the strawberry fields. This first contact with agriculture sparked his passion for marketing local products.
Over the years, he has developed his export expertise, helping local producers to break into the US market. With growing demand and the opportunity to structure a turnkey service, Joey, Guy and Daniel founded Encore Produce in 2023.
Today, the company not only facilitates the export of Canadian agricultural products, but also helps local businesses import strategic raw materials and goods to remain competitive.
Why "ENCORE"?
The word "ENCORE" does not just refer to a reminder after a show. This illustrates the enthusiasm and constant demand of our partners, who always want more: products from here, delivered with reliability and expertise.
It is also one of the first words spoken by Joey’s daughter, heard repeatedly during a family trip. A nod to the memory that inspired the name of the company.
